Reporter Reel:
About Me:
I am a reporter, anchor, and editor. Throughout college, I have learned various mediums to become a multimedia storyteller. In May, I will graduate from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a degree in journalism and mass communication with an emphasis in creative media and minors in political science and communication studies.
I come from what some may call a massive family with 17 aunts and uncles, over 100 cousins, and three siblings. With such a large family I have learned to be a team player and how to cater to everyone's unique needs. My parents being educators, taught me not to take my education or any opportunity for granted. My family has also taught me to work hard, stand out in a crowd, and create my own opportunities.
My cousin Bethy and I would talk late into the night about movies and TV, and we decided that we could turn these conversations into a podcast. Since launching in November of 2019, we have gained a consistent audience, and I have learned the ins and outs of podcasting. This podcast led to my job as a podcast producer at Speak Studios where I work with New York Times best-selling Authors Ann Garvin and Amy Impellizzeri.

For The Omaha News, I have created multiple news stories that aired statewide on the Knowledge Network. I have done numerous stories highlighting different political issues with local political leaders. I was chosen to anchor our election special, an hour-long broadcast following the election. As well as on-air experience, I have worked as a crew member for the show Consider This on NET, learning every position behind the scenes.
